This was what some of my seniors told me when I joined the Broad Family in August last year. Today as I stand in the brink of finishing my first year, it just seems like yesterday that I was sitting amongst 108 students in the orientation program – anxious but excited.
Upon starting the program, I was assigned a team with whom I was to work the entire first year on various projects and cases. Getting to know the team members and laying down some rules ensured smooth functioning. In the second semester I was a part of two more teams, which made things all the more challenging. Completing assignments, while overcoming the problem of schedule clashes of all team members can often be a long ordeal.
If I were to describe my journey so far in a phrase, ‘a rollercoaster ride’ would be most appropriate. And the biggest takeaway has been – the importance of depending on one’s team members to get things done.
