Broad takes pride in its veterans and values their contributions to the program’s academic, professional, and social fabric. That’s why 8 percent of our most recent class are veterans of the U.S. military.
The Broad Full-Time MBA program can help you apply your military experience to a civilian career, maximizing your investment in yourself and preparing you for future challenges. We encourage you to view the videos below, featuring several of our current veterans sharing why they chose Broad to make the leap from the military into the business world.
Please also explore this website’s resources and military benefits and contact us in order to be connected with a MSU student veteran.
Application fee waiver
In recognition of your service, the Broad program will gladly waive your application fee. Before you submit your application, send an email to Paul North for instructions on the application fee waiver.
Veterans eligible for Ch. 33 entitlements should review this MBA Ch. 33 Guide before matriculating at Broad to ensure you properly receive your benefits. Navigating the GI Bill process can be confusing. Please feel free to contact one of our current students for help with this process.
Yellow Ribbon Program
Michigan State University proudly participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program. Combined with your Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits, this program allows eligible veterans to earn their MBA effectively free of tuition.
In addition to the financial benefits you have earned as a veteran, you will be eligible for financial assistance through the Broad MBA program. Once admitted, the admissions staff automatically evaluates your application for additional financial incentives, which are awarded on a competitive basis.
