The Broad Full-Time MBA program awards more than $2.3 million in competitive merit-based fellowships and Graduate Assistantships each year to first- and second-year MBA students.
All applicants to the Broad MBA program automatically are considered for fellowships and graduate assistantships. Applicants should apply early in the admissions year to be most competitive.
Many private scholarships are available beyond those offered by Broad. Early application and meeting each scholarship’s criteria may improve your chances for being selected as a recipient.
Veterans and other GI Bill-eligible prospective students should contact the MSU Office of the Registrar. Applications should be submitted early enough to enable the registrar’s office to process the appropriate form and submit it to the Veterans Administration regional office at least 30 days prior to registration.
All military vets and their dependents will receive an automatic non-resident tuition waiver to go through the Full-Time MBA program.

The MasterCard Foundation announced its partnership with Michigan State University in The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program, supported by $45 million in funding to MSU, the largest cash commitment in our university’s history. The Program, a $500 million education initiative, will provide talented, yet financially disadvantaged youth—especially those from Africa—with access to quality educational experiences that are critical to their success in the global economy and ultimately to the success of that economy.
MSU will support 185 Scholars—the most Scholars among U.S. partner institutions in the Program—and will build experiences, values, and competencies that will enable the students to give back to their communities and home countries. Apply

The Broad Full-Time MBA program would like to recognize applicants from certain backgrounds that exemplify community service. Applicants who served in organizations listed below (in the last two years) will automatically receive a Non-Resident Tuition waiver. This waiver offers an out-of-state student tuition at in-state student rate. It has a current value of $16,582 per year or $8,291 per semester (these figures are based on 2015-2016 tuition).
